It’s normal to see a small difference from time to time. A few common reasons:

  • Payments in transit – A payment you made to the court may not have reached PayCourt yet, or a PayCourt payment may still be posting to the court’s system. We send funds to the court every week, but each side’s posting schedule can create a short lag.
  • Judgment interest – Some courts authorize PayCourt to calculate and apply judgment interest even if their own site can’t show it. When that happens, you’ll see the interest itemized in your PayCourt consumer portal under the Details tab (upper right) as part of the sub-balance breakdown.

Questions? – If something doesn’t add up, contact PayCourt or the court directly. We were hired to help you navigate situations like this and will work with you to reconcile any differences.
